Life or Something Like It

Life SHOULD NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well- preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally WORN out and screaming "WOO HOO - WHAT A RIDE!!!"

Why I Hate Christians, reason # 857

Tyler spent the weekend at a friend's house practicing music and playing the guitar. Over the course of the weekend, at some point, a comment is made. A derogatory remark about Jesus is made by Tyler's friend. Something stupid and meaningless within a group of 14 to 16 year old guys. So Monday comes, and at school a girl that they know overhears the story, but thinks that Tyler made the comment. Frankly, it doesn't matter who made the comment. And with all the righteous indignation of an abortion clinic bomber she proceeds to try to scratch Tyler's eyes out. And succeeds to an extent. I had to come get him because his eye was injured.

True Christian fashion.

You say something bad about my Jesus? I'll just gash your eyes out.

Yeah, thats what Jesus would do.

I informed the principal that if I behaved in such a Christian manner at work that I would go to jail, because its considered assault. Keep in mind I got the call at 1 pm, which is my 1 am. I worked last night, and had to work tonight. And I had taken 2 benadryl. I got to bed at 10 am, woke up at 1, dealing with it until 2:30, didn't get back to sleep until 3, and had to get ready for work at 6 and be to work at 7. I also told the principal that If I make a mistake at work because I am sleep deprived - someone dies.

I hate christians.

Can't wait till my little witch party.

You need to rent Jesus Camp.
Everyone should watch that movie.
It just came out.
It made our childhoods look normal.
And it's happening now.
The best part about it was when the pastor of the big church that everyone loved was on screen talking about homosexuality...and it was Tedd Haggarty...the one from Colorado Springs who got caught with a prostitute, a male prostitute, and meth...yeah.
Not all Christians are like that tho. And it's really really sad that the majority of them are getting a rap for the small number that are so awful. I don't believe they are all bad. But all it takes is one, and one that messes with your child should be made to write a book on how what she did was NOT Christ-like and how it makes her worse than those she "hates". I would want to speak with the parents and point out that they are raising a child that will be in prison.
I hope Tyler is better really soon.
OH, I didnt' get the email - you were telling me about a party?
