Well, for starters I'm taking that stupid ticker off of here. After the last few days - of ketones and then real food - I'm not even going to tell you what I weigh, and I certainly don't want to look at it everytime I log on. That said, thank you Livingsword and Deb, thanks for the concern. It was very scary. I think I am just going to try to eat healthy, count calories, and exercise. Its no magic plan, but apparently it will work, just not fast.
So tonight I had a sandwich, a turkey sub. So good, so far. The carbs feel so heavy though.

hey, just do what I am doing. seriously, it's just counting the calories. go to caloriecounter.com and put in your weight and info and it will tell you how many calories you need to eat every day to reach your goal. My number is 1600, but I try for 1500. You get really used to paying attention to nutrition facts. Don't worry about the carbs versus protein so much, I mean don't eat ALL carbs, that'll make you feel tired, but just eat regular stuff and start paying attention to the calories and aim for your goal. Don't go under 1000 cal a day tho, your body will go into starvation mode and won't let go of the pounds. And the other thing is to pay attention to how your clothes fit. I've lost way more inches than pounds. Even down a bra size (!). And then just do something exercise worth at least 4 times a week, I walk moderately/fast for 30 min 5 times a week. And it's working. Don't stress and try other stuff, if this can work for me there is NO FREAKING way it won't work for you.
