Life or Something Like It

Life SHOULD NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well- preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally WORN out and screaming "WOO HOO - WHAT A RIDE!!!"

Pink Hair

So I've been bored with my hair for awhile. Decided on a little change.
As of yesterday its now black with huge pink strips/hunks of hair.
Not sure I'm done with it. We'll see. Maybe I'll put a picture on here.

First I screwed it up, and started to look like Stevie Nicks.

What color my hair is seems pretty insignificant when there is a war going on, and bad things are all around. Like this one http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18921040/. I actually felt sick reading it. But you know, things like that make me want to never turn on the tv, or read any news. Makes me want to only be concerned with my hair. Or my nails. Or American Idol. I just kept envisioning those kids hanging there.......................

I think I'll make it blue next time.

Feeling very melancholy. Yeah, I know, whats new.

Hmmm, your hair must look interesting! Did you cut it short or did you keep your length?

Toward the end of each of my pregnancies, I did something drastic to my hair. I get restless for SOMETHING- anything to change, so I do a different style.

When I was in middle school, I was a real tomboy and I had a spikey flat-top. :o) I was skinny and wore shirts that hid my chest and people would ask, "Are you a girl or a boy?" I would just laugh. I thought it was hilarious!

That is a really sad news article. Honestly, I'm on a News Fast. Just too depressing for anyone with a heart to read all the crap that is going on today- especially when it's happening in my life too. I can't handle my own pain and that of everyone else too... know what I mean?

It's still long. Just pink on the top, and fades to black. Kinda like me huh? Look I made a cute analogy - fading to black.

I think I'm with you on the news fast.

When I was younger (think early 80’s) and had much more hair (there is a reason why I use the image of a red ruffed lemur for my profile :)

I had blue hair with a 5 inch tail on the back right side and a red lightning bolt on the left side. It really worked well, I wore a black short jacket with studs on the shoulders and on both sides of the chest with a mega cool strap belt built in (you could open beers with the buckle), wore a black zipper shirt (8 zippers I think). Two double studded belts, black skin pants with a thin red stripe down the side of each leg, and of course elf boots.

Now I express my individuality in other ways.
