Striptease

I found this quote while I was surfing. I was looking for hairstyles, specifically stripper hairstyles, for when I get my hair cut. And I got a little distracted. I liked the quote. It made me think. It is very true.

Nice concept as a business, but I don't think it delivered what it advertised. Anyhow.....

I think I have always fascinated with the differences between men and women, and equally fascinated with the power that the female form has over men. This is probably one of the reasons I like strip clubs. Women are in control and men are there, very willingly, in this trance. Its the trance I think that fascinates me. These big, strong, powerful creatures are in a sort of suspended animation simply by viewing the female body. From the time you are about 12 as a girl you know this exists. But it hasn't been till now, at 36 that I am just starting to understand it and how powerful it is. By the simple flash of a leg, cleavage, a silhouette or sometimes something as simple as a strand of hair, or a misbehaving bra-strap we have stopped traffic, caused accidents, and started wars. I am completely mesmerized by them being mesmerized. Fascinating. And addicting to me.

I found that quote so true. We are so inundated by sex, not just in the media but in our very souls and physical/spiritual makeup. The media didn't create the drive, it is simply expressing it. Its always there, always has been. But then if you act on this most basic of drives, especially men reacting to "the female", like porn, or adult shops, or strip clubs where its ok to just sit and have a beer and watch a pretty naked girl dance for you - FOR YOU, then you are perceived as some sort of pervert. It really is just sex. I don't understand the hang-ups in this country. So Judeo Christian. Even if you are a christian, god made sex right? I've learned that beautiful women do not intimidate me. I love being a woman, I love feeling sexy and being in a highly sexual environment. And I like to do it with my man. I like it when he is turned on, even if it is by another female. Its the connection that is possible between them that is a threat to me.

I love this power. Love it. And I miss it. Its been dormant for a long time. Imagine my 18 year old body with my 36 year old brain and soul. Wow.

I'm gonna get my body back.

Just ranting a little.

By Friday I have a goal to lose 3 pounds. 176. I'm going to work hard for it this week.

Friday Royce and I are going on a date. Gee, wonder where we will go?
