Was 174.0 when I got home this morning. So we will see what it is when I wake up this afternoon. Rode my bike home. The ride to work last night was easy. Easier than it has ever been. The ride home was hard. It always is - after working all night. But I did it.
Had a schitzophrenic, bipolar patient last night, who had 3 distinct personalities - with whom she would have entire conversations with outloud, who is 23 weeks pregnant, who was brought in after a psychotic episode. The night before she was put in retraints by security (soft wrist), and chemical restraints by the nurses ( IV Haldol). And you could hear when it was a different person talking. And get this, she was her own boyfriend - one of the personalities was her boyfriend. Now wouldn't that come in handy girls? I can do vagina, and meconium, and throw up, and blood, and amniotic fluid, and even dead babies. But you can't just stick your fingers in someone's psyche and see how "dilated" they are. I could never work Psyche. I would be admitted. Give me vaginas - comfort zone is the vagina.
Only at County.
Poor baby.

see, this is where we are so different. Give me the crazies any day of the week, I'll clean them up before I'll clean up the ooey gooeys. Poor baby indeed.
I wanted to tell you, I think it's a good thing to just weigh yourself once a week. Otherwise you are going to drive yourself crazy with the fluxuations, we all have them. That way at the end of the week you can really see the progress. Just a suggestion.
I'm glad you are connecting with your sister. :) nic
"Comfort zone is the vagina" ... can I get a t-shirt that says that? I think I may have to use this as my new e-mail tag line.
Are you an ob/gyn nurse? Or doc? I am a certified childbirth junkie, but we stopped at 3. I was lucky enough to have the most awesome L&D nurses all 3 times.
