Life or Something Like It

Life SHOULD NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well- preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally WORN out and screaming "WOO HOO - WHAT A RIDE!!!"

Master Cleanse - Day 2

It is day 2 of the master cleanse. I was really hungry last night. Really had to fight it. Cravings. But I didn't give in. I was one pound less this morning. Down 11 pounds.

I went to buy more lemons just now at the store. The girl at the check out looked at my order told me she is doing the master cleanse right now. It actually helps to talk to other people who are doing it.

These are my decisions for this year:
1. Lose the weight, exercise more, get in shape finally.
2. I'm going to ride my bike to and from work from now on. Starting tonight.
3. Dedicate myself to working more, getting and staying better financially.
4. After I have lost the weight, and fixed all the financial stuff, I am going to get the surgery I want - a breast lift/augmentation for my 37th birthday in October. I should have lost enough weight and saved enough money by then.

I'm going to look fabulous.

In the spring sometime I want to have a Goddess party. Where I take my girlfriends out to dinner, pay for everything, and we sit and talk, and drink wine, and celebrate. Celebrate us and friendship.

Meanwhile, my two week internal and external examination and purging continue.

If I am quiet, here or at work, that is why.

I'm thinking.

I dreamed about my dad again last night. We were walking along a stream, in a beautiful place, with beautiful trees. He always loved to go to places like that. I asked him if he liked this place. He said very much. Its nice to be able to talk to him again, even if it is only in my dreams. We just walked and walked. Quiet and peaceful. No rotting flesh, no decomposing. Just my dad and me.

I'm glad to hear you're doing better. It sounds like things are beginning to come into focus. I am also very interested in your master cleanse recipe...might be joining you. Expect something in the mail from me soon.
