Life or Something Like It

Life SHOULD NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well- preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally WORN out and screaming "WOO HOO - WHAT A RIDE!!!"

HA HA HA- you crack me up!

My man & I watched the video clips together and we agree with him- Christians should have good sex and lots of it.
Christian views on the body and sex have remained quite Victorian in nature... the body is evil, sex is dirty, feelings of attraction are wicked- all LIES.

Why did it take 7 yrs after I got married before I could relax and enjoy sex? Well, perhaps because I had EGW screaming in my ear that "it's a sin to stir up passion in your man". Phooey!

Sexuality is healthy and sorry but wearing long flannel nightgowns at night and shapeless jumper-dresses during the day isn't gonna do anything to encourage a healthy sexual response. Fix up a little! Sex is a HUGE part of a relationship. Many are so plain in appearance, strict in the bedroom and prudish, then they wonder why their men end up in bed with some young hottie during their mid-life crisis. Sad.

My uncle died of prostate cancer. Science shows that men who engage in sex regularly have a better chance of avoiding this malady. His wife was extremely stingy with sex and believed it was only okay to have intercourse every quarter moon. Poor guy!

I got some really BAD advice as a new bride on what is and isn't appropriate for Christians in the bedroom. (sigh)

We've moved past that now....

You crack me up too.

I actually agree with everything you said - just the visual with some church folk, well, enough said.

I totally agree though. Thought it was an interesting article.

Yeah, I guess the image of the Head deacon and his wife knocking boots isn't real appealing. LOL
