Life or Something Like It

Life SHOULD NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well- preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally WORN out and screaming "WOO HOO - WHAT A RIDE!!!"

Thid kids got home safely about an hour ago.

I probably won't be posting for awhile. My dad is really bad. All my time off will pretty much be down in Phoenix. Until who knows when.

Hey red headed babe, Does your
dad have hospice? Is he on ALTCS?
My mom just got hospice for my grandmother who will be 101 yrs. old, god bless her. She is not bedridden but does use a wheelchair and has permanent diapers on. My mother is more relieved because she is getting help from hospice either once a day or 3 days a week. The nurse comes in to assess the need for level of care. A great service they are doing! She is not in a nursing home yet . She cannot speak in sentences. She trys to talk but cannot get it all out. She recognizes us. I have to see her more even if I have to bring my 4 kids to the home. Their great-grandma will not be here very much longer. Love ya --- Let me know if I can contact someone for you knowledgeable about hospice. I have their number. Robin

I completely agree Barb, we have hospice, we used it for my grandma. It is there to help everyone. Good suggestion.
